Born and raised in the Gulf South, Georgia Pearle Foster is an alumna of Smith College and holds an MFA in Poetry from Lesley University and a PhD in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Houston. Her nonfiction has been published in The Houston Chronicle, and her poems have appeared in Ninth Letter, Kenyon Review Online, and WSQ, among others. Her first collection of poems, Refinery, was released September 22, 2022, and she is currently at work on a second collection of poems as well as a memoir. She now lives in a valley in rural Idaho with her partner, writer Joshua Dewain Foster.
